As an integral part of our community, Ideal Credit Union takes pride in being a catalyst for positive change. We believe in the power of unity, compassion and support. Through our unwavering commitment to various causes, we actively contribute to a variety of important causes that help fill a void and deliver essential services to those in need. Our collective efforts have seen thousands of dollars donated to organizations and initiatives that touch the lives of many. These include financial literacy programs, local food shelves and food programs, support for our local veterans, and the Salvation Army's Coats for Kids drive, among countless other worthy causes.
Through the Ideal CU Community Foundation and the heartfelt contributions of our dedicated employees and Board of Directors, we've been able to make a substantial impact. Our commitment extends far beyond financial contributions. Ideal CU employees, volunteers and their family members embody the spirit of community service. Each year, they generously donate hundreds of hours, working tirelessly to uplift our local communities. Whether it's orchestrating and executing the MN Brain Tumor 5K, packing boxes with love and care for our neighbors facing hunger at the Second Harvest Heartland Regional Food Bank, or walking in support of breast cancer research, our devoted volunteers breathe life into the credit union philosophy of "people helping people."
