14th Annual Minnesota Brain Tumor 5k Creates Momentum for Research and Survivor Support with Presenting Sponsorship from Ideal Credit Union
(Woodbury, MN – June 1, 2023) – Ideal Credit Union is pleased to announce the Minnesota Brain Tumor 5K, sponsored by Ideal Credit Union, held a successful run/walk in support of brain tumor research bringing the total funds raised to nearly $1 million since the event began in 2010.
The Minnesota Brain Tumor 5K was held on May 21st at Stillwater High School in Oak Park Heights. The event surpassed its fundraising goal collecting $60,548. Since 2010, the event has raised close to $1 million with the current tally at approximately $966,304.00.
“Every year we see the impact this event has to fund research and gather a wonderful community of survivors, families and supporters,” said Brian Sherrick, President and CEO Ideal Credit Union. “Ideal Credit Union has supported the Minnesota Brain Tumor 5K for many years as a lead sponsor and our employees enjoy playing a big role in planning and staffing the event.”
The MN Brain Tumor 5K donates 100% of the event proceeds to the Musella Foundation for Brain Tumor Research and Information, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit public charity whose mission is to find a cure for brain tumors and provide resources for families.
