Building a savings cushion is easy with RoundUp. The program helps you turn everyday spending into savings. Once enrolled in our RoundUp Savings, you'll benefit from great rates every time you save. All RoundUp transactions are deposited into your RoundUp Savings Account.

How it works
Once enrolled, every transaction on your Ideal Debit Card will round up to the nearest dollar and the change will transfer right from your checking account into your RoundUp Savings account. You can even choose to add an additional $1 to $2 to each purchase to pick up the pace with how much you save. See rates and member qualifications below.

To qualify for RoundUp Savings premium rates/APYs, member must have an Ideal Credit Union Checking Account and Debit Card, receive eStatements and conduct a minimum of 20 debit card purchase transactions during the monthly qualification period. Must also have a minimum qualified direct deposit of $1,500 salary, pension, Social Security or other regular income electronically deposited through the Automated Clearing House (ACH) network to this account by an employer or outside agency to earn premium rates/APYs. RoundUp Savings occur when the Ideal CU Debit Card transactions are rounded up to an even dollar amount. An additional amount of $1 or $2 can also be added to each transaction and transferred to RoundUp Savings. If the minimum criteria are not met, the account earns 0.05% APY per month. *APY = Annual Percentage Yield. Rates subject to change at any time. Interest rates adjusted and paid monthly. |
